This has been a crazy week! Valentine's Day, snow, Grandaddy visiting, more snow, Brodie gone to the San Antonio Livestock show, and then Brooks' third birthday!!! We celebrated at home over the weekend before Daddy left town and then we celebrated again with cupcakes at school. His actual birthday was on Wednesday so we had a few friends gather for some pizza before church Wednesday night. That's a lot of celebrating!!!

This week I'm grateful for my little man who learned how to wink at me! This isn't the best shot, but I had no idea until I downloaded this set of pictures that he was winking at me while saying "Cheese!". It was a perfect birthday surprise for me!

I was getting so much yellow glare from the walls and ceiling of the pizza place so I tried a levels adjustment and then I used Coffee Shop's Perfect Portrait to define and sharpen up the soft eyes, add the vignette, and sharpen for web. So I guess, for me, this week's photo was more about trying to salvage a shot that, while not technically perfect, has tons of sentimental value! Thank goodness for Elements!
