Film 365 Project - {Week 27} - Homeschooling Adventures
Since moving to Rockport, we have adjusted our homeschool schedule to better fit the seasons. It's so hot in the summer and there are so many tourists in town, that it seemed silly to take a break from school (just because everyone else does) only to find ourselves wanting to be indoors where it's nice and cool! So we start our year on August 1st and follow a schedule of 4 weeks on, one week off. We also take off for a couple of weeks (or three) in October, and then we also take off a couple of weeks in the spring. This was one of those weeks! The weather has been beautiful and spring breakers have not yet invaded us, so we are taking advantage and enjoying some time off of our studies.
I have been working on some photography projects with Mandi DeLano Photography and the good folks out at Four String Farm, so we spent some time talking about and planning some farm weddings. (More about that later!)
We also started meeting with a group of friends for "bikes and scooters" playdates. Oh, and geocaching. Lots of geocaching! Random stuff that makes up a week of Miller family adventures!
