Film 365 Project - {Week 18}

Brodie spent a week working with some volunteers and met an interesting guy who is also a photographer. They struck up a conversation about cameras and lenses and Brodie happened to mention that I'm spending a whole year shooting film each day. The guy said he had a medium format Pentax (still in a box collecting dust in a closet!) that he had barely used when he decided to go digital. Long story short - I got an early Hanukkah present!

We had dinner with friends last night and Brodie asked if they would indulge him for a moment and allow me to open an early gift! He said, "I thought this thing might need some sort of special film that you can't get at the walmarts and wanted you to have time to order some before we gather with family." The fact that I lost almost a whole month's worth of photos has been tempered somewhat by my new camera. I may have lost some images and gotten part of my project out of order, but I have plenty of new images to choose from over the next few weeks!
