Texas State Aquarium - Field Trip
Moving to the Coastal Bend area has changed the way we homeschool, especially when it comes to science. Texas State Aquarium, in Corpus Christi, has a once-a-month educational program geared toward homeschooling families. Aubrey and Brooks have been attending classes that range in topic from coral reefs, invertebrates, and sea turtles, to buoyancy, density, and marine debris. While they are in class at the Sea Lab, Crosby and I have been enjoying our membership at the aquarium. She loves every part of it, but especially playing with Kai and Shadow! It's amazing to watch the interaction and reactions of both kids and the dolphins. God's creation is amazing and we are getting to experience a whole new side of it right in our backyard.
