I Heart Faces - Motherhood

Motherhood: weather you bring them into this world, or weather you bring them across an ocean, it's all the same! I took this photo of one of my besties, Ashley, last summer when she brought her new daughter, Kate, home to meet her other two daughters. She was so nervous for Kate and her two older girls and what this would mean for their family. So many questions, so many doubts, but so much love and the knowledge that this was such a gift from God.

I just love the look on her face as she introduces Kate to Blair and June for the first time! That is motherhood, right there, in that nervous but proud smile.
