Bluebonnets {2016}

The bluebonnets here in Rockport, Texas, proved to be quite elusive this year.  Photographing kids in bluebonnets is difficult enough as it is, and nearly impossible when we've had a poor crop. Of bluebonnets, not kids.  Although they can add to my misfortune when they are not in the mood to traipse all over Aransas County looking for something that doesn't exist.  

Plan B was to head to Crawford to see Grandmother and Grandfather and hope that we could find a patch that work for our annual Miller kids photo.  The bonus was getting to spend some time with my cousin Ginny, and squish on her two kiddos.  So for the 12th year in a row, I succeeded in accomplishing this corny tradition that has grown dear to my heart.
